Stu Herreid specializes in bluegrass and folk styles. He grew up in his parent's music store (Herreid Music) up in Redding Ca and started working there by dusting the pianos each morning before walking to school. In 1972 Stu started working in the store selling guitars and such. Started teaching shortly there after. Started his own store in Chico in 1982, took over the Redding store in 1985 and has been playing guitar, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and keyboard since.
